Wyoming Business License

You must get an electrical license to work as an electrician in Wyoming. You can get an electrical contractor license to be a low-voltage and limited technician, journeyman electrician, or master electrician.

To qualify as a low-voltage and limited technician, you must have two years or 4,000 hours of on-the-job training in the appropriate category. If you want to become a journeyman electrician, you’ll need four years or 8,000 hours of work experience in the wiring industry. You also need to have completed 114 hours a year or 576 hours over four years of related classroom instruction. The instruction must have taken place at an electrical apprenticeship training program that was approved by the Department of Labor. Also, you need a work history that includes planning, laying out, and NEC.

To become a master electrician, you must have completed eight years or 16,000 hours of work in the electrical wiring industry. Four years or 8,000 hours of the work must have been as a licensed journeyman. You also must show proof that you completed 576 hours of classroom work in the field. Your work history must have been supervised by a qualifying electrician for a licensed contractor and include planning, laying out, and NEC. You also must show experience in the residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installation categories.

If you have the necessary experience, you must take the exam. After passing the exam, you can receive your license.

Wyoming Engineer License

Professional engineers enjoy satisfying careers with a nice salary and good benefits. First, you need to graduate from an EAC/ABET-accredited program. Then, take the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering exam. Next, you will need to take the NCEES Principles and Practices exam or PE NCEES Structural exam. Wyoming Medical License

Wyoming Real Estate License
